Aerial Drone Academy is owned and operated by Drones Inbound LLC of Springdale, Arkansas ("we", "us"). These terms cover your use of aerialdroneacademy.com and its online courses (together, the "Academy"). By creating an account, buying a course or using the Academy, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to take a course. Give accurate information, keep your password private, and do not share your account. Each account is for one person. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Buying a course

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are charged once, at checkout, by our secure payment processor. When payment succeeds your account is enrolled in the course you bought. Access to a purchased course continues while the Academy offers that course, unless the purchase is refunded or your account is closed for breaking these terms.

Refunds follow our refund policy: a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have completed less than half of the course.

PilotLedger subscribers

If you sign in with PilotLedger, your included courses depend on your PilotLedger plan. An annual subscription includes every course. A monthly subscription includes one course each month, and the courses you choose stay open while you remain subscribed. When the subscription ends, access to included courses ends.

Course content

All course material, including videos, text, quizzes, files and the textbook content it is based on, belongs to Drones Inbound LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own learning. You may not copy, record, resell, share or publish it.

Training only

The courses are educational. They do not replace the FAA regulations, your aircraft and sensor manufacturer's instructions, or your own judgment as pilot in command. You are responsible for flying legally and safely, including holding the certificates, waivers and authorizations your operation needs. Completing a course does not guarantee that you will pass an FAA knowledge test, receive any certification or win any work.

Certificates issued by the Academy, including the Level 1 Thermography certificate, confirm that you completed an Academy course. They are not FAA certificates.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Academy: no attempts to break its security, scrape its content, interfere with other students, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Changes to courses and terms

We update courses as regulations and equipment change. We may also update these terms. When we make a material change we will post the new terms here with a new effective date.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Academy is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim about the Academy is limited to the amount you paid for the course the claim concerns.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
