Effective October 22, 2026
Aerial Drone Academy is owned and operated by Drones Inbound LLC of Springdale, Arkansas ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use aerialdroneacademy.com and its courses, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, and the password you set (stored only in encrypted form).
- Purchase details: the course you bought, the amount and the date. Card numbers are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout page and never reach our servers.
- Learning activity: course progress, quiz results and certificates, so you can pick up where you left off and earn completion certificates.
- PilotLedger sign-in: if you sign in with PilotLedger, we receive your PilotLedger account ID, name, email address and whether your plan is annual or monthly and currently active. We do not receive your PilotLedger password or business data.
- Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To run your account and courses, process payments and refunds, issue certificates, answer support requests, send course and purchase emails, and keep the Academy secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Our payment processor (to take payment), our email and hosting providers (to run the service), PilotLedger (only to confirm the plan of subscribers who sign in with it), and authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and course records while your account is open, and purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to close your account and we will delete or anonymize the rest.
Your choices
You can update your name and email in your profile, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@aerialdroneacademy.com.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
